We had specifics that we wanted out of our lube… 1st Smooth Slide had to be natural and safe free of chemicals, dyes, flavorings, etc….  the next it had to tolerate extreme fluctuation of temperatures.  Since we had friends in several states we made sure to test it in Cali, New York, and Florida, Colorado, Washington, New Jersey, and New Mexico summers and winters for our all our friends here in Cali…. and and all the other states.  We also have many friends in Colorado and Washington and in case you haven’t been to Colorado or back east in the winter, it’s cold, and your glass joints can get jammed stuck. Smooth slide had to stand up to both West & East coasts’ extreme temps.

By rubbing a thin layer of Smooth Slide ™ on you down-stem provides the perfect lube texture to hold you down-stem slide in place while also allowing you to remove that down stem for cleaning every easier that without Smooth Slide ™. By rubbing a generous amount of Smooth Slide ™ on your pullout bowl, pulling out your bowl is smooth allowing the down-stem to stay in place and you to get a perfect hit without fumbling with a stuck piece of glass. Not to mention by using Smooth Slide ™ it provides a better Seal for the Glass on Glass joint forming an air tight seal with ease.

    Must Have For Expensive Glass. My 12″ Beaker/ 6 Arm Tree Perc w/ Showerhead ash catcher needs it and so does my new 10″ Diamond Glass Skinny Neck Beaker UFO Perc w/ Double showerhead ash catcher. This makes the glass joints buttery smooth and suction 110%. I have a Black Sheep Ashcatcher that’s permanently fused to a GRAV Downstem because it got Rez water in the joint and was screwed too tight together and now will not come apart. I found this stuff online and it seemed to make sense. Since then I haven’t had any glass on glass joints freezing up. This stuff lasts quite a while, I’ve gone through 3 tubes in 3-4yrs. I lube all joints good when it gets cleaned then as it gets used I relube the bowl stem frequently. For the price I highly recommend for any glass pipe, must have for Ashcatchers and downstems.

    Does it’s job quite well, applies easily to joints, then just twist the male joint inside of the female joint to evenly spread.

    I received this item in my December 420 Goody Box and i was doubtful at first….. but once i tried Smooth Slide it did actually solve 2 problems i was facing.

    1. Solved my bowls and downstems from getting stuck together making it scary to pull apart, with Smooth Slide it made it super easy to pull apart!

    2. Solved Some of my ground glass joints that wouldn’t totally seal and would give me airy hits. When using your product that seemed to be just what i was looking for to solve that minor air leak between my glass joints. They are super airtight now and easy to pull apart !

    Smooth Slide solved an ongoing issure i had been having with a complicated piece that comes apart. It solved the issue i had with the gooseneck mouth piece that once in a while would get stuck even when clean. now i use Smooth Slide and it slides out everytime and now i don’t have to get all scared anymore. No one wants to break their piece and thanks to Smooth Slide i have one less worry in life!
